We offer two ways of becoming certified: in-person classes and online training. And there are advantages and disadvantages to both. The in-person classes are held in our Mount Laurel (NJ) office and run quarterly; the next in-person training is scheduled for late winter 2020. In-person trainings are alternately held as week-long classes and weekend/evening classes; the winter 2020 class will be held as a two-week long class. The next weekend/evening class will be held in the spring of 2020.
Online classes will begin in February 2020. This training will be recorded video classes that you will access through a secure portal in our website. The obvious advantage to this type of training is that you can take the course at your own pace and on your own time. You can start each lesson whenever is convenient for you.
Hypnosis certification is offered through the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICBCH); New Jersey Hypnosis Training is an authorized ICBCH training school and my instructor certification is through this organization.
The two hypnosis certifications are: “Certified Hypnotist,” and “Professional Hypnotist.” The certified hypnotist course is 40-hours and the Professional Hypnotist course is 60-hours, with the certified hypnotist certification being a prerequisite (for a total 100-hour course). The 40-hour certified hypnotist course gives you the theory and techniques needed to confidently hypnotize clients. The Professional Hypnotist certification uses the 40-hour course as a foundation where advanced theory and techniques are explained and practiced. The Professional Hypnotist course goes in depth into the various techniques used by experienced hypnotists all over the world.
